OH YA! I wanna share something about SAT critical reading. To me SAT words are tough and not so common. It's very difficult to complete critical reading section when we don't understand the meaning of the words. So we have to do
EDUCATED GUESS or use our
COMMON SENSE. I find this helps a lot in conjecturing the meaning of a word by its prefix. These are some examples of prefix.
1. auto- after or later than that
2. bi- between
3. circum- exactly half/partly
4. co- across/changing/between
5. inter- together/sharing
And the word of the day is CONTROVERSIAL.
